I am Laura Flannery and I specializes in high-end headshots, portraits, and fashion photography for actors, actresses, models, and other entertainers. As an actress myself, I know the pressure behind getting the perfect headshot, I mean... it is the first thing casting, producers, potential agents & managers see of you. That's HUGE! My aim is to make the whole process as smooth and comfortable for your as possible, and believe it or not, it will actually be FUN! My knowledge in this industry as well as a degree in fashion design gives me the ability to make you shine to your full potential. Where do your headshot session take place?
Sessions will take place at Laura Flannery's Studio in downtown Covington, LA. Address will be given upon booking.
The studio has the benefit of both studio and natural lighting.
The "studio" setup also resembles a very natural-looking light.
What does a look consist of?
Looks consist of a single change of wardrobe, or a single change of hair/makeup, or any combo of the two.
What is your availability?
Sessions are booked roughly 1-2 weeks in advance via online booking calendars (see book session).
If you wish to get in sooner than the calendar allows, there is a wait list which moves frequently.

We will contact you if an earlier appointment is available.
Should I book with a makeup/hai artist?
I highly recommend having your hair and makeup done professionally for men and women. We offer in-house artists that are extremely talented and knowledgable when it comes to film and photography makeup and hair. They are also helpful at keeping another pair of eyes on you while you are being photographed and will even assist in making wardrobe look picture perfect. One of our artists can be reserved for you, just let us know at the time of booking/scheduling. Their payment is separate from your invoice and due on the day of the session via Cash, Venmo, Cash app or Zelle.

Our artists ask our clients to come with a clean face and hair ready for your first look.
They will help fine-tune your first look and build upon that as we go from look-to-look.
Can I trust your makeup artist not to do too much?
Yes! Too much makeup is no bueno. Our artists will apply the “industry standard” which is very light and natural.
We like to keep the whole process extremely collaborative, so if you have any requests, we are very happy to take them into consideration.

What if something comes up and I cant make it?
Rescheduling is allowed ONE TIME as long as you give me a notice of at least 2-business days prior to the time of our session.
Business days are Monday-Friday. Rescheduling with less than 2-business days notice is considered a cancellation.
Your time is as valuable as ours.
If you're late for your shoot, this will result in less shoot time and fewer images/looks, so please be on time.
If you're over 45 minutes late, this is considered a cancellation.
If you do not show up or you cancel less than 2-business days ahead of time, you will forfeit your deposit.
Do you offer consultations?
Upon booking a session, you will receive two emails to help prepare you for your session.
These include what types of clothing to bring, a list of general characters you could portray and other fun headshot trivia.
On the day of your session, I will see what you brought and help you narrow down your looks.
If you still feel like you would like a zoom consultation prior to your session, please email me to request.
When will I receive my images?
After 7-10 business days following your session, you will receive an online gallery with your ENTIRE session of color-corrected proofs.
Proofs are high enough resolution for web use, but not recommended for printing.
With this gallery you will be able to download and choose images for retouching
Retouching is included in both sessions but additional retouching is offered at $40.00 per image or 3 for $90 and so on.
The retouching process takes 7-10 business days and delivered to you in high-resolution for both print and web usage.
