I am Laura Flannery, and I specialize in high-end headshots, portraits and fashion photography for actors, models, and other entertainers.
As an actress myself, I get the pressure of needing that perfect headshot. It’s the first thing casting directors, producers, and potential reps see — and it can make all the difference. That’s why I’ve built a studio experience that’s smooth, supportive, and yes... actually fun!

Where do your headshot sessions take place?
All sessions take place at Laura Flannery’s Studio in downtown Covington, Louisiana. The exact address will be provided upon booking.
The studio offers both beautiful natural light and controlled studio lighting, allowing us to create a variety of looks while keeping your headshots natural and authentic.
What does a “look” consist of?
A “look” typically consists of one wardrobe and one primary lighting/background setup designed around a specific casting type, character, or goal.
Small adjustments to hair, styling, expressions, and posing can be made within each look. A complete wardrobe change or a new specialty lighting/background setup may be considered an additional look.
Not sure how to use your looks? Don't worry! I’ll help guide you during your session so we can create the strongest variety for your goals.
What is your availability?
Sessions are typically booked 1–3 weeks in advance. New session dates are released through the online booking calendar one month in advance and can be found under the Book Session tab.
Need to get in sooner? We keep a waitlist that moves often! Email lauraflannerystudio@gmail.com to be added, and we’ll reach out if an earlier session becomes available.
Should I book Hair + Makeup?
Professional Hair + Makeup is completely optional, but highly recommended if you'd like some extra help getting camera-ready.
We work with talented artists experienced in makeup and hair for photography and film. Depending on your session and artist, they can also remain available during the shoot for touch-ups and adjustments between looks.
Hair + Makeup rates range from $250–$500, depending on your needs, services selected, and artist availability.
Artist is booked separately from your photography session and payment is made directly to the artist. If you'd like to add Hair + Makeup, email lauraflannerystudio@gmail.com after booking your session. Please arrive with a clean, moisturized face and clean, dry hair unless your artist provides different preparation instructions.
Can I trust your makeup artist not to overdo it?
Absolutely. Headshot makeup should still look like you.
Our artists take a natural, camera-ready approach and understand how makeup translates both in person and on camera. The process is collaborative, so you're always welcome to share your preferences and speak up if you'd like something adjusted.

What if something comes up and I can’t make my appointment?
Sessions may be rescheduled one time with at least 48 hours' notice (Monday–Friday).
Rescheduling with less than 48 hours' notice is considered a cancellation and may result in the loss of your retainer.
If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time, which may reduce the number of looks or images we're able to complete.
Arriving more than 45 minutes late is considered a cancellation. No-shows and last-minute cancellations result in the loss of your retainer.
Do you offer consultations?
Yes! Every client receives complimentary email preparation information after booking, including tips on wardrobe, what to bring, and how to prepare for your session.

This is a great option if you're building your first headshot portfolio, rebranding, or simply want extra guidance deciding which looks will serve you best.
When will I receive my images?
Your full gallery of color-corrected images will be delivered via an online gallery within 7 business days of your session.
Your session package includes the number of professionally retouched images listed in your package. Once you've selected your favorites, additional retouched images may be purchased for $45 per image, with discounted packages available when purchasing multiple images.
Final retouched images are delivered in both:
High resolution for printing
Web resolution optimized for casting sites, IMDb, websites, and social media
